Contract opportunity for Strategic User Researcher at Federal Government Department. Contract period of 6 months with possible extension of 6 months. Australian citizens only. Role closes 31 Jan 2019, Thursday 5pm (Sydney Based)
Mandatory Selection Criteria:
- Strong knowledge and experience of a range of user centred and agile approaches, and the ability to guide the teams to adopt a wide range of user research methods
- Ability to quickly analyse a range of research sources, identify clear user needs and actionable insights, and keep these at at front of mind when supporting the team to make product and prioritisation decisions
- Proven experience working within diverse and inclusive environments and working across organisational boundaries and physical locations to deliver services and project outcomes that meets the user needs
- Ability to collaborate closely with colleagues in different digital disciplines to achieve outcomes
- Creatively communicate key insights about users and user needs from research, and in multiple ways (such as service maps, customer journeys etc)
